Working at Hornsea School & Language College

Hornsea School & Language College is a very successful rural comprehensive school, with over 1100 students and approximately 190 staff.  The school is recognised as being Good by Ofsted and has enjoyed national recognition for academic progress. The School has an innovative and committed leadership team who manage the school in a way that engages the enthusiasm and support of the staff, parents/carers and students. The School’s success has therefore come as a result of the dedication and passion from all of these stakeholders.

Staff feel their views and opinions are both listened to and valued and are proud to be a member of staff at HSLC (Staff Survey 2021). This enthusiasm and commitment to the students and School enables everyone to benefit from a respectful and mutually supportive relationship between both the teaching and support staff.
