A-Level in Design Technology
A-level Design & Technology equips you with design skills for the future; you will be able to recognise design needs and develop an understanding of how current global issues, including integrating technology, impacts on today’s world.
Throughout the two-year course, you will learn to identify, investigate and outline design possibilities to address needs and wants, and design and make prototypes that are fit for purpose.
Maths’s skills are fundamental to design and technology and these are embedded with the course. Students will also learn technical, design and making principles which they will demonstrate and apply their knowledge of through assessments.
