Year 10 Work Experience

Well done to all our Year 10 students who completed a week of work experience in July 2021 in what has been a very challenging and disruptive year. Despite a number of our usual placements unable to support this opportunity for students this year, we were delighted that 62% of the year group managed to secure work experience and take part. Placements ranged from farming, hairdressing, retail and hospitality to engineering, teaching, dance and animal care. Once again the feedback this year from employers, about our students that had taken part in work experience, has been fantastic. A number remarking that they would gladly offer the young person a job in the future and one student even managed to secure a 'Saturday job' as a result of her successful placement.
