Cashless Catering Key Points
* NO CASH will be accepted in the main school canteen.
* All students are registered on the new cashless system
* A Biometric consent form must be completed.
* All student accounts will need crediting prior to their first purchase from the canteen. This can be done using one of two methods –
1 Online via the school website https://www.scopay.com/hornsea a pupil link code can be obtained by emailing [email protected] stating the name of the child. (New year 7 link codes will be email out during the summer holidays) When crediting accounts online there maybe up to a 2 hour delay in the credit reaching the school account.
2 A Revaluation unit situated in the student entrance. This can be used to top up the accounts by the pupil placing their registered finger or thumb on the Biometric Reader followed by inserting the accepted tender: £20, £10 £5 notes or £2, £1, 50p 20p 10p or 5p coins. Please note the copper coins are not accepted. Account balance can also viewed at the Revaluation unit
3 If an account has a zero or negative balance students will be allowed to purchase lunch for one day only by obtaining a lunch pass from the school reception. Credit must then be added to the account to clear the overdrawn balance and to allow any further purchases.
