A-Level subjects:
Modern History, Maths, Philosophy, EPQ

Why did you pick these subjects?
I enjoyed history and did well in it at GCSE. Maths seemed like a challenging subject that I felt I could do well in and would remain interested in. I chose philosophy as something completely new.

Why did you come to Hornsea Sixth Form?
I didn’t really consider anywhere else and most of my friends were staying here. It is easy to get to and from Sixth Form and a lot of people I know enjoyed their time here.

What are your plans for the future?
Hopefully after Sixth Form I will be able to find an apprenticeship or maybe even full time work. Hornsea has helped me to achieve this through careers advice, future’s day and the guidance of my subject teachers.

What is your favourite thing about Sixth Form?
I know the majority of people who attend and have found it easy to make new friends. All members of staff are willing to help you.

Any advice for year 11 students?
Choose subjects that you enjoy and won’t get bored of – it will make revision much easier! Definitely look into other colleges as well as Sixth Form, although, don’t just follow your friends wither as that they might like, you won’t necessarily like too.
